WARBY PARKER-FIELD SERIES

If you're into trendy sunglasses, then you are definitely not going to want to miss this; allow me to introduce you to Warby Parker's new Field Series:

When you live in Texas like me, sunglasses are a necessity for the summer. But Warby Parker has a great product offering that allows your sunglasses to transition into Fall/Winter style as well. The looks are all very sleek and hip. Basically I would describe them as making anyone who wears them feel like a badass. The three distinct builds (Reed, Grady, and Bonnie) come in two colors each. My indecisiveness tells me I should just own them all, but I'll break down my favorite components of each below.

REED: I love how these have a narrow frame and the contrast of the metal with the lens itself. These are perfect if you're looking for a monochromatic look. I'd definitely go for these when I'm looking to pull of an all-black outfit. Another plus is they are unisex!

GRADY: My favorite part about these is easily the unique cutout details. It's such a small detail to have, but it really makes these glasses stand out to me. Just like Reed, these too are unisex!

BONNIE: So I'm usually an aviator type of girl, but I'm obsessed with this round frame. There is just something very feminine about this shape which makes me adore it. Clearly they are a bestseller for a reason!

All three of these glasses offer 100% UV protection (protect your eyes people!) and like any pair of Warby Parker glasses can be made into prescription lenses as well. You can shop these looks and all other sunglasses here

So go check out Warby Parker and all they have to offer. The coolest thing with this company is for every pair of glasses or sunglasses sold, a pair is distributed to someone in need.

LACE-UP LOVE

Love was definitely in the air this past weekend as I got to watch my cousin marry the girl of his dreams. We got to spend the weekend in Andrews, NC which let me say is quite possible the most beautiful place I've been to. I'm not usually an outdoor-sy person, but I actually enjoyed being one with nature all weekend.

Weddings are always one of my favorite excuses to get a new dress. I didn't really factor comfort into the question this week but I am so in love with these heels! I usually don't wear a ton of bright colors, but I became pretty obsessed with this dress. Hope everyone's summer is off to a great start so far.

BABY BLUES

With the Texas heat starting to kick in there's one thing I'm sure of: I'm obsessed with breezy dresses. This dress was practically a steal being under $50. It's so easy to throw on a comfy yet chic summer dress. Another obsession of mine: my new heels. I've been wanting some fringe, wrap-up heels like these for a while now, but just wasn't willing to pay a ridiculous price for them, so when I found these it was perfect. I'm trying to get in as many wears as possible before I have foot surgery in a few weeks because after that I'll have to say goodbye to my heels for quite a while (tear). I'll definitely find some way to make crutches in style though!

Hope everyone's summer is off to a good start. I've been making the most of being back home in Dallas by venturing out to new bars and restaurants and here's a short list of my favorites:
-Henderson Tap House
-Truck Yard
-HG Supply Co (amazing moscow mules) and awesome rooftop

ALSO for those of you who don't know, that little stud in my picture is the newest addition into my life and he goes by Reggie!

VERDE VIBES

So I'm finally getting around to blogging all my senior pictures (hooray!) Not going to lie, I'm getting very sentimental writing this post considering I just graduated from Baylor a little less than 2 weeks ago. My 4 years spent at Baylor were easily some of the best years of my life. I've learned a lot about myself and have grown as a person and I owe all of that to Baylor University. Can't believe I'm an alum now.

With summer beginning and moving out of Waco I have one piece of advice to share to those who have not yet graduated: Enjoy every minute of your college experience because it'll fly by way too fast and before you know it you'll be in the real world like me and miss school so much!

NOTHING BUT NEUTRALS

Let me start by just giving a huge "AMEN" for this weather today. Nothing like sunshine in February. Just a little update on me lately: so I decided to start this "Whole30" thing and basically I can't eat anything that tastes wonderfully good in this world. Okay so it's not that bad, but I envy all of you who got to take part in National Pizza Day yesterday! Day 10…only 20 more to go.

For this look, I was definitely inspired by Khloe Kardashian's recent look from Instagram. I'm all about the neutrals lately, which is a nice switch-up from my usual go-to all black looks that I cling to. Side note: I don't believe in any type of rule in regards to when you can where white pants…if you want to wear them, DO IT and do it proud! Hope everyone has a fabulous day and happy early Valentine's Day to all you single folks like myself!

BLUES CLUES

I know we've all heard of blue suede shoes, but this blue suede dress is my new favorite. This outfit is entirely paired with Stella & Dot accessories, which you can shop with my stylist, Savannah here! Hope everyone is having as great of a weekend as I am, and good luck to all those going back to school this week!
