Finals are ending and everyone knows what that means...SUMMERTIME. Summer fashion is one of my favorites because of the insane(in a good way) patterns and colors you can pair together. For this summer, there are a few essentials every gal needs.
First off, high-waisted shorts are a MUST HAVE. No matter your size, shape or height, they compliment every girl in the right ways. Don't want to spend a pretty penny on a pair? No problem. Good Will or any thrift store is stocked with vintage Levi's and Wrangler's ready to be made into shorts. Grab yourself a pair and head over to YouTube for a quick DIY and you'll be set.
Secondly, maxi skirts and dresses are hot right now. With the Texas heat on its way, these dresses/skirts provide you with the perfect flow. Pair them with the perfect sandal or wedge and you're ready to take on the sun.
As you can see from above, I'm a little obsessed with Kendra Scott currently. She just came out with her new "Island Escape" collection for the summer and let's just say it's pretty perfect. If only I wasn't limited to a college kid's budget :(
To end this on a positive note, good luck to everyone cramming for finals, and for those who aren't, consider yourself lucky! Happy studying and stay trendy!

Current Obsession: Stacked Wrist

The trend is known as "stacked wrist" and it is exactly what it sounds like. All you have to do is stack up your wrist with your favorite bracelet/watch accessory combo. The secret is to pick ones that compliment each other. I suggest wearing a watch because it completes the look. This look is fun to create, but don't get too crazy by stacking bracelets up to your elbow (not a good look). Below are some links to bracelets/watches that I think would perfectly achieve this look. Have fun and go wild with it!

Tribal & Trendy

Lately when I've been out shopping all I see is tribal, tribal, and more tribal. So why not embrace this new trend? The colors and prints are so fun, and they are so simple to match. This tribal cardigan I picked up at a local Waco boutique has become one of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe...and that's saying a lot. Is it possible to have too much tribal-ness going on? Possibly. But I think my cardigan and fringe boots aren't going too overboard. I wore this outfit to a hockey game, so it was pretty casual. Trends come and go, but I think this one will stay (at least until the end of summer).

Merry Christmas!

Tis the season to be merry and most importantly, trendy! It's finally Christmas Eve, even though it feels like the beginning of summer here in Texas. For this holiday, I chose to spice things up a bit with these lovely, yet comfy snakeskin print skinnies. Holiday outfits are one of my personal favorites. If you're looking for a way to dress up to any holiday parties, here's my go to look: Pair of skinny pants (color of your choice) Solid or printed blouse, statement jewelry, and a nice pair of heels. As my grandma would say, Feliz Navidad! I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and New Year!

Hot Hot Holiday

Who would have guessed that we would be getting this type of weather in DECEMBER??? Santa, if you're reading this, I would really appreciate it if you would bring some cold weather with you from the North Pole. Since my winter wardrobe is still awaiting its big entrance, I've had to make due with the climate at hand. Pleather and prints. Two of my favorite things recently. With this outfit, I got to take a step more toward my girly side, which i la-la-love! What girl does't enjoy putting on bright pink lipstick and making the kissy face? I even got to bring out my favorite boy Chunk for this special occasion :) Hope y'all enjoy!

Everyone loves birthdays

It's that one day out of the other 364 that you get to call your own. Your birthday! Or shall I say my birthday. Being nineteen isn't all that grand, but it is another milestone I have made it to and I'm quite proud of it. This occasion didn't call for too dressy of an outfit, but rather a classy casual one. Of course I like to spice things up with some neon and bling ;) Hope everyone had a wonderful turkey day! Oh and in case you were wondering ONLY 30 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS so spread the cheer y'all!

Business in the Front, Party in the Back

It's been a long week here in Waco, but what better way to kick off Baylor's homecoming celebration than with a kick-butt outfit? So yes ladies, I broke out the heels. This weekend will be filled with lots of spirit and of course fabulous outfits. After looking back at these pictures, I almost get a retro vibe which excites me since I've most recently become obsessed with the 'Mad Men' series. omg I'm in love y'all. Leave me a comment below and tell me what your favorite go-to fashion item is (shoes, jewelry, hat, etc) Have a fun and safe weekend everyone!
